The reality is that every archer is different bio-mechanically. The challenge is to find what is suitable for each archer within the process and without any compromise on safety.
The “steps of archery” are not all sequential but treating it as a step-by-step process which is built up will help. It’s some sequential and some parallel sets of tasks which starts and end at different times.

- Stance & Balance
- Nock
- Hook-up & Grip
- Raise & Draw the Bow
- Anchor
- Aiming
- Expansion & Release
- Follow-through
- Relax, Reset & Feedback
Each step builds on the previous step, and can be seen like setting a foundation on which the shot is built.
