Objective:
- Improve Overall Strength (Grip, and lower body)
- Improve Stability
Equipment:
- Kettle bells or dumbbells of a suitable weight.
Technique:
- Set up bar dumbbells on your sides.
- Start with feet about shoulder-width apart with toes slightly outwards.
- Lower the body by hinging at the hips and knees while your glutes move down and back until your thighs are parallel to the floor.
- Press up through your feet while squeezing your glutes to return to the upright starting position.
- Repeat for the desired number of reps
Notes:
- This can be a warm-up exercise to shooting practise.
- This is an alternative to the barbell free squat and is more accessible.
